Maronite Monks of Adoration

Our cloistered, monastic community is focused on Eucharistic adoration and reparation for the glory of God and the good of souls. Our first source of spirituality is the liturgy: the Mass and the divine office. To maintain the fervor of adoration and mission, we spend two hours each day in Eucharistic adoration as well as generous time of spiritual reading.

Qualifications: Men of faith, prayer and willingness to sacrifice themselves in the hidden life of contemplation are best suited for this vocation. Good physical health with emotional maturity enable a candidate to grow in monastic life. Being a Maronite monastery does not prevent candidates coming to us from the Roman rite or any other part of the Church since we receive a special indult from the Holy See. Most of the monks are from the Roman rite, having been attracted to the contemplative monastic life of Eucharistic adoration.
