Benedictine Nuns of St. Scholastica Priory

St Scholastica Profile 2021.jpg

As Benedictine contemplative nuns, the aim of our life is the search for God and union with Him through prayer. Our chief role in the Church is the celebration of Holy Mass and the seven hours of the Divine Office, sung mostly in Latin Gregorian Chant with our twin community of monks, St. Mary’s Monastery. Lectio Divina fosters a loving attention to God’s word daily speaking to us through the scriptures.
